Corporate & Startup Attorney (Contract/Flexible)
Sophisticated startup and venture work on a project-by-project basis, with full control over how much you take on.
About Pacific Street Law
Pacific Street Law is building the next generation of legal services. We combine exceptional attorneys, cutting-edge technology, and a new approach to delivering sophisticated legal work faster, more efficiently, and at transparent, predictable prices.
We advise startups, emerging growth companies, and established businesses on their most important legal matters, from formation and venture financings to complex commercial transactions, regulatory challenges, and strategic growth.
At the center of our model is Pacific Street Systems, our legal technology company, which develops proprietary AI tools and workflows alongside our attorneys. Together, we're rethinking how legal work is performed, how expertise is delivered, and what clients should expect from their law firm.
The Opportunity
We are seeking corporate attorneys with 2–5 years of experience representing startups, emerging growth companies, and venture-backed businesses to join our growing network of legal specialists.
We work with attorneys on a project-by-project or agreed-upon hours basis, offering sophisticated corporate work with complete flexibility over the volume of engagements you accept. Work remotely or in person, collaborate with exceptional attorneys and legal engineers, and help build a new model for delivering legal services.
Who You Are
You've trained at a top-tier law firm or company and developed a strong foundation in emerging companies and venture capital work. You're the kind of lawyer clients rely on for advice, not just legal documents. You understand the pressures, opportunities, and tradeoffs facing founders and emerging companies, and you're excited to help these businesses navigate challenges, make important decisions, and grow.
You want control over how you work and how much work you take on. You may have your own clients, an independent practice, other professional commitments, or simply need flexibility for any number of reasons. You want to continue doing challenging, sophisticated legal work on terms that fit your life and priorities.
You combine excellent legal judgment with an instinct for speed, responsiveness, and innovation. You're comfortable using AI as an integral part of your practice, while knowing that the quality of the advice rests with you. You're excited not just to use new technology, but to help build the systems that will define the future of legal practice.
