We founded Pacific Street on the belief that technology would fundamentally transform the practice of law, creating an opportunity to rethink the law firm from the ground up. We set out to build a new kind of firm: one designed for where the profession is going, not where it's been.

Founded in 2022 by Gareth Rhodes, a Harvard Law graduate and former regulator at the New York Department of Financial Services, Pacific Street grew out of his experience in government, law firms, and in-house at early stage companies. He worked alongside exceptional lawyers and dozens of founders, and saw the same problem from both sides: businesses needed sophisticated legal advice, but too often faced high fees and slow turnaround times.
Gareth wanted to give clients the expertise of sophisticated lawyers, without the costs and constraints of the traditional model.
That vision became Pacific Street Law.
